WE WOULD ALL BE THRILLED. WERE ANY OF YOUR TRIO OR BAND FROM MARCELLUS, WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED? ALL MY BEST TO YOU.

Fran,
All of us from the 80's YP (Youth Programs) at Kanuga still think of you. It is always a treat to see you in St.Petersburg FL when you stop by. The "Witness" of some of your stories are great. Staying at a St.Pete hotel and talking with people on the porch. They realized you were a musician and asked where you were playing? I think you said "at a church just a couple of blocks away" and invited them to come and see you! That really inspired me... My favorite song of yours is "Take My Burden, Lord. Best wishes Mark E.

Thank you for your witness of faith this past weekend. I especially am passionate about singing spiritual hymns and songs for health and wholeness. It is an important ingredient for worship and God's gift to us.

Having been a big fan of McKendree Spring in the late 60s and early 70s, I was thrilled to see you advertised in the local newspaper. Your performance at St Stephens last night in Catlett, Virginia was both enjoyable and inspiring. Your singing and playing are better than ever. Thanks so much for coming to our community and please come back.

Hey Fran! Just thought of you today and the fun we had ministering to those 6-8th graders at Camp Beckwith right before New Years! Having you there was really a blessing and I wish it would have lasted longer. I praise God for giving you this calling and you listening to that call because I (and others I'm sure) have been blessed by it. I hope and pray God crosses our paths again :).

We were at a conference that we really enjoyed with Fran several years ago at Kanuga where he was the Music Leader. One of the songs he taught us there had the words "One Body" in it, and we think it referred to First Corinthians 12: 12-21 about the Christian Body. We would be grateful to know if Fran ever recorded this song or if he can recommend a recording of it, so we can purchase it. We appreciate your help, and look forward to hearing from you. Please give Fran our best and wish him God's Speed in his wonderful ministry. Thank you.

Hey cousin! I was in Florida last week visiting mom and dad and Dotty and Kent stopped by. Dotty told me to check out your web site. I was sorry to see that you were here in Chesapeake in October. I live in Chesapeake and Sharon lives in Yorktown. We would've loved to see you and hear your ministry. If you make it back to this area, please let us know so we can get together. Thanks for all you do in getting Gods word out.

I just heard one of your songs played in a program on 91.3 fm in Akron, selected by the "guest program director" for the segment, Chip Billow. And I decided I had to check into your work further. I'll be on the lookout for you if you come to this area in the future.

I had a wonderful time getting to know you and enjoying your marvelous works at Winter Woods this week. You were not only a blessing to the campers, but to the counselors and adult staff as well. I do hope our paths cross again some day. Best wishes for a happy, healthy and productive 2010.

Greetings!
Stumbled on this site because I was researching old McKendree-Spring recordings. That was a looooong time ago! It's great to read about your spiritual journey since then, one not all that different from my own. I'll be checking out your current stuff now.
May God continue to bless you and your ministry.

Fran,
I am so sorry I didn't get to see you in Williamsburg. I live there and that's what I get for not checking your calender. I met you at your performance at the 5:30 healing service on a Wednesday night at St. Peter's in Oxford, several years ago and your concert afterwords.
We chatted for a few moments about upstate N.Y. and the old days around Syracuse and Rochester, etc.
I'm moving back to Oxford, shortly, and I know we will meet up again someday.
Just kicking around some old McKendree Springs on you tube and thought I would give you a "Hey."
Have a great Thansgiving and say hello to Ollie when you talk to him, for me.

FRAN!!! I am sure you don't remember me at all... You and I go way back!!! Like early 90's! If you remember me at all it would be as Scooter, I was a member of Bill Oldland's EYC at St. Francis in Greensboro, NC... Your music touched me in a way that I can not even begin to describe..
Some of my most fond moment were your concerts in our Parish Hall...Do you remember Lindsay dancing? I was moved beyond tears. Glad to see your musical ministry is still touching the lives of other young Episcopalian's all over the country...You represent a part of my youth that was incredible and something I will treasure forever!
With God's Peace,
Scooter :)

Still basking in the soft mellow mood from Camp McDowell. You carried us from the jump ups to the tears, and from the laughter to the hugs with such grace and gentleness. Have listened to Rise many times since. It's great. Come again and visit the Ascension. Thank you so much being part of our lives for three days. Pat & Jim Franklin

So happy to find your site. Have been singing "Heal My Heart" since 1984 at the Episcopal Youth Event in Stillwater, OK. Tape was destroyed long ago.
